Phat INC. (9.3.25)

Phat Inc, a jazz collective that originated from the heart of the historically diverse Hudson Valley Music scene, is making their way down to the Horn on September 13th, 2025. Led by Ivan Tamayo and Leo Belsky, the young musicians formed this band during their time at Bard College, a school not so dissimilar from Kenyon. Their reinventive style fuses jazz with elements of funk and rock, giving their music a timeless appeal. The jazz fusion sound is even reminiscent of the annual Jam-Jam performance Kenyon students put on each year. Before Saturday night’s show make sure to give the 8 tracks off of their album Phat 1 a listen, but come expecting more as the band is notoriously known for their live performances. Phat Inc’s commitment to bringing back the accessibility of live music is a special thing that should not be missed by the music loving community at Kenyon.
