walking through a ghost town

If I am allowed one piece of advice, it is to not let yourself fall victim to your sadness. This is a highly hypocritical statement for me to make considering a couple weeks ago I was wholly swallowed by my sadness. The only significant thing to come out of my time in sadness’s stomach is this playlist. It is not your generic sad playlist because this one also has loneliness and emptiness!

During a time of immense change, I don’t think it’s unusual to feel lonely in the present and reminiscent of the past. This playlist is for those who feel like they’re walking through a ghost town, whether literally or figuratively. I have to believe that we’ll make it out the other side with only a few scrapes. Until we get there, if you have any pent up sadness or frustration, put in your earbuds, walk down the street at night, and play this playlist (in order). To quote the song that inspired it all, “let it all out.”
